Professional graphic designer. One of the best modern draftsmen in the world. The first art teacher was his father, who drew well, told tales and then illustrated them with colored pencils. The head of his first art studio Tichonov took a glimpse at Khananov‘s work, asked him to show his hands and fingers, and then he concluded, "You will be an artist." Khananov studied painting and drawing from Smirnov and Mamontov. He was always interested in the existential philosophy of Kierkegaard and Heidegger and the  works of Rilke and Kafka, Cervantes and Shakespeare. Khananov illustrated more than 30 books.
